The Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth is a confederation of over 50 leading national and regional Agricultural Show Societies, Agricultural Associations and Research Bodies working in 20 Commonwealth countries.
The RASC recognizes the importance of supporting young leaders in the Next Generation (NG).
Ongoing efforts have been made to promote the development of the NG Programme which now includes a growing membership of over 200
delegates from across the Commonwealth, under the age of 40.
- The title,‘Understanding and Assistance Mission’, reflects the opportunities for individuals to gain insight into a country’s culture and economic development while offering assistance in sharing their knowledge and skills.
- NG leaders are selected from diverse agricultural backgrounds representing both developed and developing countries, with equal participation of young male and young female leaders.
