The Royal Bath & West Dairy Show Returns for 2025

Returning to the Bath & West Showground on 1 October, the Dairy Show will welcome some of the UK’s finest dairy livestock, as well as showcasing the past, present and future talent that continues to shape the industry. Exhibitors from across the country will compete in an array of breed classes, culminating in the prestigious Supreme Champion title.

Before the final championship, the ring will shine a spotlight on rising stars through the Showmanship classes, divided into age groups 7–12, 13–17 and 18–26. These will be followed by the ever-popular calf classes, offering a chance to spot the industry’s next generation of showing talent.

The Dairy Show will also continue to host the UK Jersey Cattle Society and the English Guernsey Cattle Society’s National Shows, firmly establishing the event as a key date in the dairy showing calendar. Competition entries for all classes are set to open in early August.

Demonstrating the sector’s breadth of knowledge and innovation, this year’s event will include a showcase of the latest technologies, services and advice, enabling farmers and stakeholders to collaborate, explore new opportunities, and future-proof their businesses.

NEW for 2025, the AgriForum brings together expert voices in a lively, balanced format. Each session will feature a panel of three speakers, including a policymaker and two individuals directly impacted by the topic at hand. Expect real stories, real challenges, and real solutions.

To further extend its reach beyond the farm gate, the show will also launch its Dairy Discovery Day, connecting agriculture with STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education. The event will feature a pilot interactive careers tour, offering an engaging new way for students and young people to explore the possibilities within the industry.

As always, the Dairy Show will offer an unrivalled shopping experience, with the latest agricultural innovations on display. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and test products before making purchasing decisions. With over 90% of trade stand spaces already booked, attendees can expect to meet a wide range of industry leaders, including Pearce Seeds, Hunt Forest Group, AHDB, Genus ABS, Barbers Cheese Makers, and Headline Sponsors, Mole Valley Farmers.
