The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) was delighted to welcome over 100,000 visitors to the 154th Balmoral Show in May 2023. Renowned as an event with something for everyone, this year’s Show featured over 3,500 head of livestock across 783 classes, alongside a dedicated food and drink pavilion, hundreds of trade stands, and family friendly entertainment.
The Society are currently preparing for their annual Premier Beef & Lamb Championships on Tuesday 21st November and the Royal Ulster Winter Fair on Thursday 14th December 2023.
2024 will also see the RUAS celebrate a milestone in its longstanding history as it recognises 170 years since formation in 1854.
To commemorate the occasion, the Society welcomes everyone to join them in a trip down memory lane at their three main events as they acknowledge decades of development, progress and support for Northern Ireland’s agricultural heritage and rural enterprises.
